Author, speaker, and ordained minister James Puckett Sr. resides in Knoxville, Tennessee, with his wife, Brenda. James retired from the United States Army after twenty-five years of active service with the distinguished rank of chief warrant officer 4. James also retired as a lieutenant in the security department from the local school system after serving eighteen years. James has authored and published several other books. James earned a Master of Arts degree in pastoral counseling with concentrations in crisis intervention for child and family brief therapy from Liberty Theological Seminary at Liberty University.
